I recently acquired the last progress state of the Erickson Sky Crane from Larry Griffiths.  I will be completing the graphic work from this point on.  With the help of Maj.Numbskully from the Knifeedge forums, I'll be adding rivet and panel line detail he created for the military version of this model.  He said it wasn't complete, and I already know I'll have to make my own rivit/panel line detail for the water tank since the military version doesn't have the water tank.

I added Vario graphics to the blade grips to represent the 6 bladed head from Vario.  I may be changing this back to a scale head, but at this point in the game, I'm not sure I want to re-model anything.  I know I need to adjust and tweak the graphics.

This is the Erickson S-64E Air Crane.  This is a preview of the model before it's on the swap pages.  It's color scheme is currently being worked on and is only available for download on my site under the Hidden Gems page.  Sorry, but you need a password to get it now.  I'll post the model again in the regular download section once it is complete and on the KE swap pages.

CH-54 Tarhe

This is the planned version for Realflight 6 only.  It will be the military version prior to the civilian refurbished Air Cranes.  The model is fairly heavy on the polys and I've only been able to shave off about a 1,000 polygons by removing the water tanks and various related items attached to the underside tanks.

Update with edge lines showing.  I just thought it looked cool, so why not post it on my site.

It's all re-mapped and being sent off to a friend for some good painting.

I started working on this project yesterday to take my mind off a current freelance project.  I find that when I start making dumb mistakes on a model I should step away for a few minutes here and there to clear my thoughts.  What better way is there to clear your mind on a model than working on another model.
